Experiencing The Energy of Words Through Art
Words are powerful! Every word that we use carries a different level of energetic vibration. Words with higher energy vibrations showcase the positive aspects of our human patterns and words with lower energy vibrations epitomize the negative aspects of human patterns. Even if we aren’t consciously aware of it, the words we focus on and choose to use reflect patterns in our everyday lives, from relationships to business affairs to self-esteem and more. The full collection consists of 280 individual canvases and 140 word pairs, all with a unique design.
Below are Elizabeth’s comments regarding one of her favorite word sets, Grasping vs. Receiving:
“As I see it, each word is associated with obtaining. The lower energy word, Grasping, leads us down a negative path of lack, neediness, and negativity. The higher energy word, Receiving, fills us with positive ideas of abundance, and gifts—both welcoming and allowing.
“The most amazing thing about this project is that having the two words, side by side, imprinted on the same original artwork, allows the viewer to go even deeper into their experience of the words and their energy.
“Though this collection began as a way for me to experiment and play with my artistic abilities, I very shortly learned there was more to it.
“I never would have imagined the growth I would experience as I painted each canvas. I read the word, felt the word, and experienced the word. How did the word make me feel? How does this word show up in my life and what do I tell myself about it when it does? Do I feel more connected to the positive energy word or the negative? And why? In just asking myself the questions, I felt myself let go of the negativity (I hadn’t even known was there) and embrace the positive.
“My intention with the project is to share my own experience with others. I want people to see my original canvases and experience for themselves how the word art affects their own body, mind, and spirit. I want to give people a means to ask themselves the same questions and experience their own relationship to the energy of these words.”
